Camp Singing Wind and Beyond

​On December 4, 2013, Carol, Joanne, and her husband Brian picked up the keys to an abandoned Campfire Girls camp known as Camp Singing Wind. In this presentation, they tell the story of how they ended up here, what they’ve been doing for the past six years, and what the future might bring. The story is told in pictures, through the overlapping lenses of building community, sustainable gardening and forest management, and dealing with our increasingly dire climate crisis. Oh, and saving the world, one party at a time.
