about Elan!
I am a native Oregonian that has been playing in the dirt my entire life. As a child, I was fortunate to be taken in by a group of mentors that nourished this love for the outdoors and invited me to attend the states first Environmental based school in Portland. My love for animals and the outdoors led me starting Temptress Truffles almost 10 years ago. Temptress was formed due to our state having a specialty mushroom called Truffles. As a dog trainer I was able to train my dogs and others on how to sniff out Truffles in our woods. Over the years of being in the woods, I’ve also discovered a love for wild dyes and fiber arts. I try to incorporate this within my business as much as possible. I am a vendor at farmers markets in the Portland area for 9 years selling wild edibles, products and promoting my love for local products.
